I have no idea what's going on. For the last week, if I check my pagerank on any of the uber datacenter pagerank checker sites, I show what I expect is my new pagerank. However, it has not propogated to my toolbar's yet. This is strange. I guess it takes even Google a while to get the update everywhere.
I can't wait until it shows up consistently, I want to see how that effects my link trading prospects. I know that I still check pagerank before doing trades.
Other than that, not much else is new....ok, I'm lying.
http://mma.gocurious.com has now become my number on money maker. The recent success of the UFC has really helped me out there. Around the weekend of the last fight, I was doing between 300 and 500 impressions per day, most of them on that site. Note that I've written approx 10 articles with backlinks to that site as well, so I'm sure that helps out.
I've also put a topsite link on my page and am being linked back by that topsite. This is also generating traffic for me.
Still none of my sites showing up on DMOZ. Makes you wonder how long it really takes for them to click a URL, see that a site is what it says it is, approve and move on? I suspect that there is a large backlog due to the 3 months that DMOZ.org was down.
